At the age of 23 I experienced chronic insomnia and mania; insanity which caused monstrous creative activity, a continuous accumulation of ideas accompanied by incessant artistic activity.
The result of this mental dimension is autobiographic <book "Young schizophrenic soul".
The book is a sort of journey into thr mental confusion, a work entirely centred on the madness of the main character, Ninja Turtles. The story takes place one night in a discotheque and amidst hallucinations and poetic outbursts the character comes into contact with many personalities such as Freud, Jung, Fromm, Nieztche, Miles Davis, Clooney, Bruce Lee, Sharon Stone, Kubric, Rocco Siffredi and others.
The book is particular because of its complex structure, its rhythm which renders it completely schizophrenic: one is catapulted into a continuous alternation of mataphysical and physical experiences, a continuous changing of mood, from moments of euphoria and hallucination to others of a lyrical and introspective type passing through the prosaic, the lyrical, the vulgar , the decriptive and the visionary... seeming to be written by different minds and hands. The result is a deep narrative magma which continues to change music and colour, taking the intensity of literary experience to the limits of hysteria.
The book has been printed in 46 copies, 23 in Italian and 23 in English.
Each personalized portfolio (mixed media on plastic) contains:
- an English and an Italian copy of the book.
- a self-portrait (present but different in each portfolio) characterized by yellow eyes; the yellow eyes represent the typical energy of mania
- my song (or audio-installation) "Hallucinated Prayer into the shadow of the rainbow" which is a continuous interlacement of delirious voices improvvisated in StudioRecording by me at Majestic Studio by the Master Marino DeAngeli.
- the artwork-cover of the song (all quite different from each other).
